What to do

  • You didn't complete the reservation. Please try again.

Hotel Booking Confirmation

After booking a hotel room, you will receive a confirmation email from Wander. Review this email to verify that your hotel details are correct. If this is the first time you booked with us and don't see your reservation confirmation check your spam box

To view your booking information

  1. Sign in to view your bookings.
  2. Choose the itinerary you wish to view by clicking on Trips and selecting your itinerary
  3. Click preview and if you want a copy of your itinerary, select the Print icon.

Hotel check-in an check-out

Check-in

  • You will need a government-issued ID to check in.
  • You can check in to most hotels any time between their earliest check-in time and midnight.
  • To request an earlier check-in time, call the hotel directly.
  • Rooms booked on Wander are guaranteed for late arrival.
  • If you will arrive after midnight, please contact the hotel directly to ensure they hold your room.

Check-out

  • You can check out any time before the hotel's check-out time on the last day of your booking.
  • To request a late check-out time, call your hotel directly. If approved, additional charges may apply.

Early Check-out

Need to end your stay early?

  • Please verify the hotel's policy about the amendments agreed at the time of the booking and contact us if you need assistance.

Changes made to your booking during your stay could result in additional charges. To read your hotel's Cancellation Policy, check your confirmation email or view your booking online in "trips".


To view a hotel you booked

  • Go to "login" input your email adress and password.
  • Click on "trips"
  • View your hotel booking
  • Go to "action"
  • Click on icon to view the booking details

Tips

  • Although a printed copy of your itinerary is not needed to check in, you may want to bring one with you.
  • For details such as accepted forms of payment, minimum check-in age, and luggage storage, check the Hotel information section of your hotel's page. If the information you are looking for is not listed, please contact your hotel directly.

Cancel your booking

To cancel your hotel booking

  1. Sign in to view your account and click on "trips".
  2. View your booking, go to "action" column and you will see a red X, click on it.
  3. You will be prompted with the cancellation window stating the cancellation policies and if any penalities are applicable

Tips

  • For cancellation fees and refund information, read Refund timelines.
  • We do not charge you a fee for cancelling your booking, but the hotel might. Check the rules and restrictions in your itinerary.

Change your hotel booking

Some hotel bookings allow you to make some changes free of charge and for others there is an extra charge.


You can make the following changes to an existing hotel room reservation online.

Please contact us for amendment free of charge:

  • Accessibility Options

To change your hotel booking

  1. If you need to make an amendmend, please cancel and re-book for the new dates or room type.
  2. Before cancelling please be aware of the cancellation policy which was accepted at the time of the booking
  3. Upon receiving confirmation of your new reservation proceed to cancel your original reservation.
  4. View your booking, go to "action" column, you will see a red X, click on it.
  5. You will see the cancellation policy, If you agree with it click "accept" and your booking will be cancelled.

Payments and fees

  • Some hotels may impose non-refundable rate plans or fees that we are required to pass on to you.
  • Penalty fees are highest when cancellations occur within 48 hours of your scheduled check-in date.
  • For cancellation fees, please verify the hotel's cancellation policy agreed at the time of the booking. Reservations cancelled online prior to the agreed cancellation policy typically take 7-10 business days to post back to your account. However, some refunds can take up to 30 days or the next cycle to post to your credit card statement, depending on your financial institution.

Tips

  • Some hotel rooms are fully refundable, while others cannot be changed or cancelled.
  • We cannot guarantee the same room type or rates as your original reservation.
  • We recommend you make changes as early as possible.

Hotel payment options

Pay now online
You can pay for your hotel booking online using a debit or credit card, PayPal. You will pay in full at booking, in your local currency at your bank exchange rate.

Tips

  • Payment by credit card guarantees your reservation until the check-in date.
  • Before making a large payment on your debit or credit card, contact your bank or credit card company to make sure you don't exceed your daily spending limit.
  • If your payment did not go through, please make sure to use a valid credit card. Your credit card number must be entered in consecutive numerals;do not include dashes "-". Also be sure to check that there are no blank spaces at the end of the credit card number. Finally make sure that the expiration date of your credit card is after the departure date which you are attempting to book.
  • For cancellation fees, please verify the hotel's cancellation policy agree at the time of the booking. Reservations cancelled online prior to the agreed cancellation policy typically takes 7 - 10 business days to post back to your account. Hospitality taxes

Some cities charge a hospitality or tourism tax (charged per person or a percentage of the room rate and per night).

Tips

  • Hospitality taxes are not included in the price displayed in Wander search results.
  • All taxes display on the payment page and are included in your total price.

Book an accessible hotel

Many hotels have rooms for guests with specific needs, such as wheelchair access, braille, and TTY phones. If the hotel has accessibility rooms, you will find the information in the hotel's information page on the Amenities section. If it is not there, please contact our customer service.

What to do

  1. Sign in to your Wander account.
  2. Go to the Hotels page, enter your travel destination and dates, and select Search.
  3. In the Filter hotels by sidebar, scroll to the Accessibility section and select your needs.
  4. From the filtered list, select a hotel and room type and click Book.
  5. In the Who's traveling? section, select the Special / Accessibility Requests (optional) link.
  6. Select the Accessibility Options that fit your needs.
  7. Complete your booking.

Good to know

  • If the hotel can accommodate your accessibility request, Wander will confirm your request by email.
  • If the hotel is unable to accommodate your request, Wander will assist you in finding an acceptable alternative or refund your original booking price. Please make sure during your booking process to specify your accessibility needs on the "Special Note" text box.
  • If you need to rebook your hotel, Wander will either refund or charge you any rate difference.

Make special requests when booking a hotel

You can make special requests (such as a late check-in time or a rollaway bed) as you book your hotel room. Wander will pass your requests along to the hotel, but we cannot guarantee availability for the room type and rate you requested. You may wish to call the hotel directly prior to your stay to confirm availability.

What to do

  1. Find the hotel and room you like and start the booking process.
  2. In the "Booking details" page at the Room (s) Guest Information section.
  3. In the "Special Note" text box, enter your requests (such as rollaway beds or late check-in).
  4. Complete your booking.

If the Special / Accessibility Requests section is not available on the booking page, contact our Customer Service.

Find a pet-friendly hotel

Many hotels offer rooms for guests with pets. Wander can help you find and book these hotels.

What to do

  1. If the hotel is pet-friendly, you will find the information in the hotel's information page on the Amenities section of the hotel details page. If it is not there, please contact our customer service.

Your search results will update to show only hotels that allow pets.

Tips

  • Hotels may limit the number and weight of pets allowed in your room.
  • Hotels may charge a fee per night or require a deposit for pets staying in your room.
